The 2W Lake Bed and Breakfast is located on the corner of Skaneateles, New York's main street. The property is right across the street from the village park and the lake, which many guests have enjoyed visiting while staying here. The bed and breakfast has two floors. 2W Lake Bed and Breakfast is located on a small half-acre lot on one of Skaneateles' neighborhood street corners. The property is situated across the street from the topmost of the Finger Lakes and a large grassy park. The Victorian-style home has two rooms available to rent on the second floor. This room features original wallpaper from when the home was first built, along with a freshly tiled bathroom. The bathroom contains animated wallpaper, luxury toiletries, and a large countertop with a linen cupboard for storage.

The owner, Clark Maher, cooks breakfast for each of the guests staying at the 2W Lake Bed and Breakfast. Visitors may request specific meals or let Clark know of any dietary restrictions for their customized breakfast. Mark traveled around much of Europe and Asia for his job, so he has a great appreciation for food. His breakfasts will often include Fratadas made with various ingredients, including tomato, spinach, herbs, and cheese. French toast with chicken, apple, sausage, and eggs is also one of his specialties. Each meal includes homemade maple syrup, fresh fruit, toast, coffee, juice, and tea. Small keepsakes such as ornaments and beanies can be purchased at the bed and breakfast for visitors to take home with them. Many high-end specialty shops and restaurants are just a few minutes drive from home, along with multiple wine trails and vineyards. Free off-street parking is available for all visitors, along with WiFi.

Clark Maher purchased 2W Lake Bed and Breakfast in 2019. The home was originally built and commissioned by a woman in 1899, during the time of the women's movement. The property has been passed down from owner to owner as a home and lodge. Clark Maher worked for thirty-five years as a fashion designer in New York City. He worked for many high-end brands and often traveled through Europe and Asia. Clark was well-known throughout the fashion industry for his attention to detail and customer service. After some significant changes happened in Clark's life, he decided to retire from the fashion industry and opened the 2W Lake Bed and Breakfast. Mr. Maher spent his early years working with his parents in the hospitality business and always knew he wanted to pursue building a business in that industry. Clark grew up visiting his family who lived in Skaneateles and knew it was where he wanted to create his dream space. Since purchasing the property, he has dedicated countless hours, restoring the home's original charm and decorating the space.
