Dave Anupam is the owner of the Alliance Hotel and Suites. He purchased the inn as an investment property with an appreciation for its location in the center of Alliance and its proximity to the airport. Before Dave purchased the property, it was a Days Inn; he changed its name to American Inn for a few years while renovating the entire interior. Then he changed the name to Alliance Hotel and Suites, which he plans to keep for the future. The building has always been a hotel or motel and has been added on to and renovated many times over the years through its various owners.
Some of the renovations and added amenities Dave and his staff have implemented over his years of ownership include upgrading all the furniture and mattresses and rebranding all of the soaps, bedding, and amenity menus throughout the hotel. The pool and lounge are currently receiving new features and renovations. New carpet, new roofing, and expanding the parking lot are renovations set to happen in the next five years. Established in 1891, Alliance is still a small city with just under ten thousand residents. The Alliance Army Airfield, a training facility for the Air Corps during World War II, is located in the town and has since been transformed into the Alliance Municipal Airport.
