History

Dave and Marci Zensinger have been working in the hospitality industry for the past 22 years. They worked in the corporate world before they switched to the hospitality industry, and they have enjoyed their time ever since. The Caribbean House is the fourth property they have owned and they came out of retirement to run the property. They saw a lot of potential in the space, and love being able to continue in the business. Since they purchased the property 5 years ago, in 2017, they have updated all the furniture and artwork in the rooms, as well as made structural improvements to the building.

The building was built in the 1950s and before it was converted into a bed and breakfast it was a store. The city of Key West has multiple historic sights across the island that guests can visit to learn more about the city.
