About

The three-story home and bungalow are spread across one and a half acres of land. Davis House is an old southern style mansion with a wrap-around porch and many windows. The two floors that are open to guests each have six rooms.

The rooms vary in size and capacity. The rooms are all decorated differently with old southern furniture and historical exhibits from the home's original family. The room's themes include a flamingo room, palm tree room, manatee room, and surfer room. There are also neutral rooms, all with beach-inspired accent pieces. A bungalow house is a few yards from the main house. This house has two bedrooms and one bathroom with a full kitchen and a screened-in porch. The bungalow is located right on the riverbank, steps away from a boat garage and the loading dock. Each room is move-in ready. Because breakfast is not served at the inn, guests are encouraged to bring their own groceries and fill the refrigerator in each room. The rooms also include a microwave, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, a hairdryer, toaster, and ironing supplies. Each room has a full bath with fresh linens along with extra soaps and toiletries. Each of the rooms have either one king-sized bed or a queen and a full-sized bed. The rooms with single beds have two televisions, one in the bedroom and one in the sitting area.

Rooms with two beds have a more open floor plan and a television visible from both the beds and sitting areas. Room numbers 10, 11, and 12 have full views of the riverfront. A tiki bar and deck are available for guests to use during large gatherings. Here they can grill food and enjoy the riverfront views. Ramps connect to each of the downstairs rooms, making them handicap accessible. Davis House Inn is pet friendly, and a large green area and the docks are popular spots for visitors to take their pets. Free parking and WiFi are included in each visitor's stay.

The inn has a personal dock and a boat slip with two covered garages. The pier is lit during the night; here, guests can take walks and watch the large river waters filled with dolphins and other water life. A small private beach is located just off the dock. The beach has many chairs and umbrellas for guests to relax in. Kayaks and bicycles are available to all guests to use free of charge. The property is opened year-round, but during the winter months, it is highly frequented. Davis House Inn is just ten minutes from multiple beaches and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and stores.
