The theme of the room is evident in the decorations, such as the fishing nets, a boat shelf hanging on the wall, and the lamp on the desk that has the appearance of fishing boots. The Northwoods Suite has two beds and one bathroom. The beds are smaller than in the Gone Fishing Suite and have red and black checkered blankets on them. The bed frames are made out of wood meant to resemble logs. The bed frame supports the smaller beds. On the wall above the beds are pictures of forest animals. Across from the bed are a desk, mini-fridge, microwave, chair, and lamp. The Harley Davidson Suite has two beds, a bathroom, and various Harley Davidson decorations such as wall pieces, a stuffed animal, and pillows. The Fountain Motel was built in 1960, making it one of the oldest motels in the country. Despite it being so old, it has been in constant operation since its opening. Over the years, the owners have refurbished and made improvements to each of the rooms to make guests feel more welcome and safe. These improvements have helped to make the environment of the establishment more friendly and comfortable. The current owners bought the house in 1998 and have been in management ever since.
