The Hundred Acre Bed and Breakfast is owned by Veronica Holman. The home has been in the hospitality industry for around twenty years. Additionally, for another twenty years, the home was used as a private residence for Veronica and her family. In the home, there are two available rooms: the Master Bear Room and Log Cabin Room. These rooms have their own bathroom, with one having a private sauna and the other having a double-jacuzzi tub. The home offers a complimentary breakfast, and the innkeepers strive to accommodate the dietary needs and restrictions of visitors. Veronica seeks to make the visit of each of her guests a comfortable one and hopes that patrons feel "at home." There are a variety of different activities that guests may enjoy on-site or nearby.
The Hundred Acre Woods Bed and Breakfast is located in Orr, Minnesota. There are a total of two guest rooms available at the property, both of which can be found in the only building that makes up the establishment. In the house, guests have access to a gathering room where there is a refrigerator, a microwave, and a television. Free wifi is available throughout the house. One of the rooms in the home is named the Master Bear Room. The Master Bear Room includes a queen-sized bed and a double whirlpool, and in the room, there is an additional place to sit. Additionally, guests have access to their own private bathroom with a double jacuzzi tub. The other room available for guests is called the Log Cabin Room. The room provides guests with a queen-sized bed. The room contains a vanity dresser and sink, as well as a sitting area and a fireplace. The room has its own bathroom and sink, which is separate from the room.

Outside of the Hundred Acre Bed and Breakfast home, guests have the ability to explore one-hundred acres of fields and woods. If a guest enjoys animal watching, the innkeeper has noted that different wildlife occasionally makes its way through the property. Snowshoeing is available and can be done on the property. Attached to the home, guests have access to an outdoor deck and a firepit.
According to the innkeeper of the Hundred Acre Woods Bed and Breakfast, one of the property's goals is "to feel like home." They strive to help guests feel comfortable and have a pleasant experience. A previous guest said that the “Hundred Acre Woods Bed and Breakfast is in the middle of the forest with beautiful views, very quiet and peaceful. The innkeeper was gracious, had great recommendations, and made us tasty breakfast and treats. We enjoyed the sauna, fire pit, and whirlpool.” Another past patron said that “the room was very nice and the bed was quite comfortable. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it.”
A number of attractions can be located within an hour or so of the bed and breakfast. If guests enjoy seeing wildlife, the management of Hundred Acre Bed and Breakfast encourages them to visit the Vince Shite Bear Sanctuary. They may also enjoy visiting Vermilion Falls or going on the Vermilion Gorge hike. Additionally, guests can go visit Voyageur National Park, Udovich Pheasant Preserve, Discovery Center and tour the Underground Mine. In the area surrounding the bed and breakfast, guests may participate in different festivals and activities. Some of those activities include golfing, boat tours, dog sledding, and picnicking. If a guest enjoys card games and gambling, they can visit Fortune Bay Casino. During the winter, guests may rent snowmobiles and use them on the nearby state snowmobile trail. Another attraction is the Board Bog Walk; guests can walk the half-mile trail that is around Pelican Lake.
For people who stay at the Hundred Acre Bed and Breakfast, there are some different policies that the innkeeper would like guests to abide by. The innkeeper asks that guests do not smoke inside of the house. Additionally, visitors are asked not to bring kids under the age of twelve or pets to the establishment. During the process of reserving a room, guests must put down a fifty percent deposit. If a guest needs to cancel their reservation, the innkeeper asks that guests provide seven or more days of advanced notice. The house is open year-round with the busier time for the business generally occurring in the summertime.
There are different locations in which a patron may go out to eat. Some of the places that the innkeeper has recommended are Dam Supper Club, T Pattenn Cafe, and Melgeorge’s Elephant Lake Lodge and Resort.
The Hundred Acre Bed and Breakfast has been owned by Veronica Holman since the home was built in the 1980s. She raised her kids in the home, and around the year 2000, the home was converted from a residential home to a bed and breakfast.
Veronica has enjoyed being the innkeeper of a bed and breakfast. She enjoys cooking and helping her guests feel comfortable. One of her favorite parts of being the innkeeper of the Hundred Acre Bed and Breakfast is getting to know each of the patrons that come to visit and hearing their stories. Veronica strives to be aware of the needs of her guests and often interacts with them.
