History

Built in 1866, Inn on Turner was initially called the Historic Delamar Gibble House. When Kim Bell and Jonathan Haas purchased the property, they turned it into an inn and revived it with fresh decor. In the process of buying the house, Kim and Jonathan changed the branding, name, focus, furnishings, and more. Located in the front of the house is a plaque that indicates the house's original name and the year it was built. Because Inn on Turner is located in the Downtown Historic Watertown District, it is surrounded by other buildings that were constructed in the 1800s. A Civil War Trail is in the area, and Beaufort Historic Site is available to those who are curious about the town's history.

Kim Bell was an interior designer and chef, while Jonathan Haas was a homebuilder and chef. Purchasing the inn in 2015 gave them the opportunity to practice their professions in a new environment. Jonathan and Kim blend their passions, creating a unique environment for guests.
