Seated in Vineyard Haven in Martha's Vineyard, Nobnocket Boutique Inn is open year-round for visitors to the island. Seven rooms are spread across the two-story home, with each room having amenities such as Bluetooth speakers, radios, wifi, and air conditioning units. The building was first purchased by the owners in 2016 and has been operating as a bed and breakfast since that time. Each morning, Annabelle, one of the owners, prepares breakfast for those staying on the premises. With a rotating menu, some of the popular dishes have been blueberry French toast, avocado-baked eggs, or orange-baked croissants. Breakfast can either be eaten in the sunroom, on the veranda, or brought to individual rooms. The owners hope that those staying at the inn are able to feel relaxed during their stay and that they can have peaceful evenings after their days at Martha's Vineyard.

There is one room on the bottom floor of the establishment, and the other six accommodations are situated on the home's second floor. The Luxury Grand-style room has additional amenities such as a gas fireplace, a sitting area, a walk-in shower, and soaking tubs. Simon, one of the owners of Nobnocket Boutique Inn, says that when he and his wife planned the interior design of the establishment, they wanted it to have an "ultra-modern contemporary" feel. With mostly neutrals and blues as décor across the home, the owners hope that they are able to provide a "relaxed escape" for guests to return to in the evenings. There are multiple common areas within the inn where patrons can relax, including two common areas inside of the home, two outdoor patios with furniture, an outdoor veranda, and seating areas across the lawn.
The exterior features two relatively large lawns on either side of the property, with a wooded acre in the back of the house. Through the woods are walking paths where visitors may see multiple types of animals, including deer, rabbits, squirrels, and birds. Simon reports that, for guests who enjoy birdwatching, there is a patio that is set back on the property close to the trees, and those who have stayed previously have commented that they were able to see a diverse array of birds from that area.
Each morning a complimentary breakfast is served to those staying at the Nobnocket Boutique Inn. The meal is either served on the veranda, in the sunroom, or brought individually to guests' rooms. Annabelle, Simon's wife and co-owner of the establishment, cooks the meal each morning. The breakfast typically rotates between a sweet and a savory dish each morning; some common meals have been avocado-baked eggs, blueberry French toast, and orange-baked croissants. There is typically a hot dish and a parfait for breakfast, with homemade granola, fresh fruits, and island-roasted coffee served as well. A few weeks before patrons arrive at the inn, the owners reach out to those coming to check for any food allergies or restrictions that need to be considered when planning meals. Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 each morning.
While staying at The Nobnocket Boutique Inn, Simon and Annabelle hope that guests can feel that they can go out and enjoy the various activities of the island and come back to a "quiet, relaxed escape." In an effort to provide this atmosphere, there are multiple policies in place the owners ask visitors to follow. There is no smoking on the grounds of the establishment. Additionally, pets are not allowed to stay at the property. The business is an "adults only" venue, meaning that guests must be at least 16 years old to stay overnight. In the evenings, Simon and Annabelle ask that patrons try to stay quiet after 11 PM. The owners hope that the inn can be "a bit of a sanctuary" to those staying in Martha's Vineyard. When planning the décor and overall ambiance of the bed and breakfast, they tried to provide comfortable seating areas and "modern style" décor. They also provide a concierge service for those staying at the property and are available from 7 AM to 7 PM to make reservations, call taxis, and help patrons find activities to do in the area.
Simon remarks that there are a variety of activities and restaurants in the area that guests can take advantage of. Hiking is an activity in the area that people have enjoyed in the past. Some trails are located at Long Point Refuge, Caroline Tuthill Preserve, Felix Neck Wildlife Preserve, and Cedar Tree Neck. Some other activities include going to any of the multiple beaches, biking, sailing, and kayaking. Granary Art Gallery and Bunch of Grapes Bookstore are two additional places that people have visited in the past. Simon and Annabelle recommend eateries in the area based on guests' preferences. Some of their favorite places are Beach Road Restaurant, Garde East, the Black Dog Tavern, Net Result, and Détente. Simon reports that, during a three-day music festival that takes place on the island, many of the performers and tourists visiting the festival will stay at the inn.
Those who have stayed previously at Nobnocket Boutique Inn frequently comment on the location of the inn, as well as the décor inside the home and the ambiance of the property. One former patron said, "The whole place smelled beautiful, it had a comforting and inviting feeling, and the owners, Simon and Annabelle, were very thoughtful. A clean and cozy room was provided. The owners have been living in the area for a long time, so they are a great resource when deciding on what to do or where to eat." The inn is open year-round for visitors and is generally busiest in the summer months of July and August.
The owners of Nobnocket Boutique Inn strive to improve their business in many ways. Simon mentions that they have received awards for the way that their bed and breakfast is run from "Condé Nast Magazine, Yankee Magazine, Boston Magazine, and Condé Nast Johansens." The owners also want their guests to know that they are multilingual and can speak English, Italian, and German.
Simon and Annabelle, the owners of the inn, have worked in the industry since 2010. They opened their first bed and breakfast at that time and ran their establishment for six years before selling and purchasing the property that would become Nobnocket Boutique Inn. The building had previously been a bed and breakfast; however, it was out of business when the couple purchased it.
The couple that runs the bed and breakfast entered the hospitality industry in 2010 after traveling to various countries across the world for work. Some of the countries they traveled to include Germany, Belgium, Holland, and China. The pair decided it was time for them to do something together that didn't require traveling. Their two fields of work crossed over most closely in hospitality, so they took some time to decide whether to run their business in America or Italy before deciding on the former option.
When they purchased the Nobnocket Boutique Inn, there were multiple renovations that took place. All seven of the bathrooms were renovated and expanded, the rooms were redone, and they rebranded the website for the business. One of the biggest changes, according to Simon, was the different marketing approach they took with the business, striving to make it a "boutique experience" to differentiate themselves on the island.
