Fred and his wife lived at the motel and ran it together. In 2016, Anita and her husband inherited the motel and have been running it from California with the help of a good manager and staff. Fred Mayes, the original owner, loved running the motel and meeting the guests that came and stayed. For this reason, Sharon Motel has many return customers because of the impression that Fred made on them. Fred provided excellent customer service, and Paul, Anita, and the rest of the staff try to continue that quality customer service legacy.
