There are two buildings on the property. One building only has a five-room apartment, and the other building houses the rest of the rooms. Four of the rooms come with stovetops and are fully stocked with cooking equipment.

In 1996 Noel and Carol, the current owners of the property, had a real estate broker call them who gave them the option of buying an inn with a go-kart track attached to it. They were looking to purchase something in the lodging industry, so they decided to take the opportunity. They thought that having a go-kart track would be a fun and unique opportunity to give guests something they cannot find anywhere else. They have enjoyed both running the inn and the go-kart track since they bought it in 1996.
The surrounding village of Westport, Washington, was established in 1914 as a fishing village. It has since become more than that but still retains its integrity as a small town. Westport is known for its summer festivals, fishing and crabbing, and, more recently, boat making. Though the city is small, there are many recreational activities that guests can enjoy.
