The Great Bear Inn is a unique bed and breakfast, with the main cabin having seven guest rooms. There are two rooms on the lower level with king-size beds. These rooms are 600 square feet and have a private patio. Two rooms have two queen beds, and three of the rooms have one queen bed. The rooms are decorated in an upscale-rustic style. Each of the rooms is named after a site that is found at the Glacier National Park. Different themes of the rooms include Native American, animals, and a garden theme. The cabin has three floors.

There are two individual cabins that guests can stay in on the property. The individual cabins have one bedroom, a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a loft with two queen beds. Great Bear Inn sells a couple of different souvenir items for guests. They have Minky blankets with the property name and a bear embroidered on them. They also sell mugs and cups, and the owner makes wooden doll beds. The owners once had a guest stay with them, who was a carpenter. He made wooden boxes that hold trinkets, and they bought some from him and sold those to their guests.

One restaurant recommendation from the owners is the Nite Owl & Back Room. It is a barbecue restaurant serving BBQ pork ribs, chicken, seafood, pizza, and more.

History

The owners, Bulinda and Larry Egley, bought the property of The Great Bear Inn in the year 2018. When they first purchased the property, there was a very different feel to the property. Their goal was to make The Great Bear Inn a homey and upscale place for guests to stay. They have put a lot of work into the property to make it the property that it is today. The property has been used as a bed and breakfast since 2006.
