The Inn at Celebrity Dairy is located in Siler City, North Carolina. The bed and breakfast was established by Fleming Pfann and her husband Brit in the year 1998. They built the inn themselves near their goat farm, which is on the same property. The goat farm is an attraction that visitors to the inn can partake at. During the Spring months, there are many baby goats that guests can hold and play with. Fleming and Brit strive to provide everything that they can for their guests from weddings or other events, down to a simple conversation with their guests in hopes to help everyone that visits to feel happier and more relaxed.
The Inn at Celebrity Dairy is located on a 330-acre farm in Siler City, North Carolina. The owners of the inn, Fleming and Brit, built the inn themselves around an old log cabin that has been on the property since the 1800s. There are seven rooms available for visitors to rent out, each of them tailored for a bed and breakfast experience. In each room, there is a wardrobe for clothes and a bed. Five of the seven rooms have private bathrooms; the other two share a bathroom and are recommended to be rented out to those who bring children. Many of the rooms have antique furniture for the use of guests, and four of the rooms have access to a wrap-around porch that is on the inn. The rooms are all air-conditioned or heated, depending on the season.
There is a little shop in the inn that mainly sells local products made on the farm. One of the main things that are sold at the shop is the Cud-Zu Goat's Milk Soaps. There are many different scented soaps sold, including bay fragrance, honey almond, oatmeal and honey, and many others. There is a goat farm on the property, which is helpful in creating these soaps.
The goat farm on the property is an attraction that brings many visitors to the farm. During the spring months, there is an abundance of baby goats that are born, and visitors to the inn are encouraged to play with them if they would like to. Along with the farm, there is a pond on the property that guests are allowed to fish in if they would like to. There is also a garden that is kept all around the inn that guests can enjoy. There are often animals that roam around the property, such as chickens or goats, that add to the farm-like atmosphere of the property.
The owners of The Inn at Celebrity Dairy want their guests to feel relaxed and laid back when they visit their inn. They strive to make friends with those who visit by talking to their guests and learning more about them when they come by. Because of this, many of their guests are repeat guests who enjoyed previous visits. They have had many of their guests leave reviews about the staff, the food provided, and the feeling of being home while on the property. One guest wrote that "the Inn is lovely. We were made to feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious, all those lovely cheeses and chatting with the owners. And then there were the goats! Loved visiting with the goats!" Another guest said that the property gave off a "comfortable ambiance" and that "you feel relaxed as soon as you pull up to the grounds. Very friendly and down-to-earth host and innkeeper." Fleming and Brit's efforts to help the guests feel at home have led them to having many reviews like these ones.
The property staff strive to extend the feeling of being at home to all those who visit. The owners have put in efforts to make many of the rooms have accommodations for those who have wheelchairs and Fleming tries her best to accommodate for all dietary needs for her breakfast meal. One unique aspect of The Inn at Celebrity Dairy is that it is also a licensed restaurant. Because of the inn's free range chickens and their goats, eggs and goat cheese are often served with the breakfasts that are provided complimentary to guests of the property.
Many events can be held at the inn, including family gatherings, professional gatherings, and weddings. The owners strive to create the atmosphere that their guests desire for their events, helping them set the stage for an ideal activity.
The Inn at Celebrity Dairy was established in the year 1998. The owners of the inn built it themselves, originally guests with a choice of 8 rooms, but now they currently reside in one of those eight. Before the establishment of the inn, however, Fleming and Brit (the owners) had a goat cheese farm, which started its operation in the year 1991. Fleming and Brit are the original owners of both of these businesses. Brit, after running the goat farm for a few years, thought that it might be a good idea to start a bed and breakfast so that those who wanted to visit the farm would have a place to stay. Brit now focuses mainly on the operation of the farm while Fleming runs many of the affairs at the inn. The inn and farm have both grown much while they have been running them. The inn shows up in some of the travel books in the area, giving some notoriety to the property, and the farm's cheeses have gotten a few awards for various competitions that they have entered.
