Dennis and Cynthia Schauer started to run Topsides Bed and Breakfast in the year 2003. Dennis and Cynthia previously lived in the state of Virginia for 18 years and had a separate building and a barn that they would rent out to guests through a company called Guest Houses. Having this experience, they decided to move to New Hampshire and start a bed and breakfast of their own.
