About

Warwick Valley Bed & Breakfast sits on half an acre of land, with seven rooms fitted throughout the property. Built in the early 1900s, this completely restored Colonial Revival home provided historical stays for its consumers. The Provincial Room, named after its French provincial furniture, provides a king-sized bed with a couch and an antique marble coffee table. A private bathroom and sitting area can be found in this room, to go along with a television with cable and complimentary WiFi. The Paisley Room, named for its paisley décor, provides a queen bed to go along with a antique wardrobe and a desk, as well as the same amenities offered in the Provincial Room.

The Ashley Room features a queen bed dressed with a flowered bedskirt, comforter and pillow shams that are decorated in pink and blues. An oak dresser and antique desk compliment the room, as well as a bathroom and TV. The Floridian Room is given a tropical feel, presented through various pictures and decorations. A California king bed is in the room, as well as a bathroom and TV. The Dutchess Room was named after the Dutch ancestry that is found in the owner, Loretta, as well as the royal feel that is presented in the room. A king sized bed, sitting area and desk are located in the room, as well as similar amenities provided in each room, largely a single bathroom and TV, both of which are complimentary to the stay. The Yesteryear room provides an antique feel with its metal framed queen bed, working gas fireplace, genuine antique furnishing and a bathroom for the guests to use. An additional fee is required for use of the fireplace.

Finally, the Loft Room is a third floor room that provides a queen sized bed as well as a window seal bed that goes along with a kitchenette, providing storage for food during the consumer's stay. The property offers breakfast every morning, serving items such as bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, and pancakes. All of the items are fresh from the farm as well as locally grown vegetables. Those with special dietary restrictions can request accommodations upon check in. Guests can eat in the formal dining area, or take their breakfast out on the covered porch bordered by original moldings. Nearby there are many apple orchards, museums, and antique shops.

History

Warwick Valley Bed & Breakfast originated in 1997, having been in the lodging industry for 23 years. Loretta Breedveld, who listed the house, fell in love with the property. After nine months of the property having been listed, Loretta decided to purchase the property herself. With a in-depth background on customer service, Loretta was able to transition to running her own bed and breakfast, which she has done ever since. Loretta has enjoyed giving guests the historical experience and show her love for the Warwick Valley Bed and Breakfast she has created.
